Educational Research

Assistant Professor Karla Hamlen Ph.D
The Educational Research Specialization equips graduates with skills to read and conduct research in the field of education as well as evaluating educational programs. Particularly in this era of accountability, the program provides students with both qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for data-based decision making. The culminating activity in this specialization is a thesis or project. Thus, the program is ideal for students who intend to pursue doctoral work in education.
