BOTANICAL GARDENS

Education Intern (assisting with planting, structures, education features and programming of Hershey
Children’s Garden, Green Corp and Grounds Programs)
Location: Botanical Gardens, Cleveland

Individual instruction, tutoring and State test prep for students in 5th-12th grade (primarily math and science)
Location: any school that hosts CSUTeach students for placements

Education Volunteer (assisting with day-to-day operations, greeting, education programs, camps etc.)
Location: Zoo, hours are flexibled

Tutoring for local elementary, middle school and/or high school students in the areas of mathematics and science -OR- assisting with weekly camps associated with reading and science/math
Location: Community Learning Center for Children and Youth (Julka Hall 130).

Participate as a college instructor for tutoring program at Cleveland State for minority middle and high school students Location: Cleveland State, month of July

Assisting with science and math summer camps for high school students
Location: Cleveland State University, July & August

Individual instruction, upper level tutoring and seminars (i.e. Smart Board, Google Docs, Geo Gebra, etc) for other students in the CSUTeach program
Location: CSUTeach program, Julka Hall

Teaching assistant for PHY 241/243 and 242/244 including pre-lab preparation, lab supervision, grading and tutoring Location: Physics Department, starting this summer into Fall 2012

Assist with morning engineering/math and science programs –OR- Assist with 1 of 4 summer afternoon camps (biomedical, robotics, aerodynamics or video game design) for boys entering 7th & 8th grade.
