Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning (CASAL)

Training and Development Certificate Program

The Fall 2017 TDCP begins October 13!

The Training and Development Certificate Program takes you through an overview of adult learning principles, the planning and design of effective training, and gives you a working knowledge of the evaluation process.  You’ll develop skills in needs assessment and analysis, learn how to design and use training strategies and techniques, and walk away with tools you can use immediately in your work.  The program follows the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation).  Content is aligned with the American Society for Training and Development’s (ATD) Certified Professional in Learning and Performance Certification (CPLP) competencies.

Offered through CSU’s Adult Learning and Development Program in the Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision and Adult Learning (CASAL), this non-credit, professional development program will help you develop the knowledge you need for success in today’s training field. You’ll gain the skills and credentials you need to advance as a learning and development professional.
