Scholarship Opportunity For Spring Semester 2016
In order to attract the most meritorious students to Cleveland State University’s Masters and Doctoral Studies programs specializing in the areas of Counseling, Administration, Supervision and Adult Learning (CASAL), Dr. Drake’s family is offering this scholarship in his memory.
An award of $1,000.00 will be made to a student enrolled in a Doctoral Studies program, and $800.00 to a student enrolled in a Masters Program within the CASAL department. All applicants must have successfully completed all admissions requirements and be in good standing with the university.
The selection committee shall seek evidence that the students are committed to professions in the fields of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, or Adult Learning, and have demonstrated leadership or leadership potential in their selected field. Although it is not a requirement, it is the Drake family's desire that this scholarship will support first generation university students who have the intention of providing service in an urban area.
Application due date is November 15, 2015. Awards will be announced on December 1, 2015.
Applications can also be found in the CASAL Department Office in Julka Hall at Cleveland State University.
