Ron Abate, Professor
in-residence

Ron received his teaching degree from Central Connecticut State College and a Master's and Ph.D from the University of California at Santa Barbara. A member of the faculty of the College of Education at Cleveland State University for twenty-four years, Ron's area of specialty is educational technology

Julie Beers, Principal

Julie receiver her teaching degree from Notre Dame College and Master's Degree and Principal's certificate from John Carroll University. She taught in Shaker Heights and served as Principal in Cleveland Heights. This is her third year in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Ryan Albright, Physical Education Teacher

Ryan received his teaching degree in Physical Education from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and his Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum and Instruction. Ryan, a die hard Cleveland sports fan, has taught in the district for 11 years.

Karla Arens, Second Grade Teacher

Karla is in her 15th year in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She has a Masters of Arts in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Education from John Carroll University. She previously worked as a probation officer for juveniles in Cuyahoga County. She spends most weekends at a sporting event for one of her two children and loves every minute of it.
