Orff Shulwerk Certification: Level I
Orff
Schulwerk is a unique child-centered approach to music education that makes use of children’s natural affinities for moving, singing, and improvised play.  Based on the work of Carl Orff, Orff Schulwerk  builds musical concepts and skills through speech, poetry, song, games, and movement in a creative, playful atmosphere, where students experience the elements of music in an active way.  Complete course information can be found here.  Download the flyer here.

Who Should Attend: Level I is for anyone with training in music, who wishes to further develop his/her teaching skills. This two-week intensive course will provide you with a foundation for using the Orff Schulwerk approach to teaching music and movement to children.
