Landscape Horticulture
Certificate Program in Landscape Horticulture
The Landscape Horticulture Program has been endorsed by Cleveland Botanical Gardens. You can earn a Certificate in Landscape Horticulture upon successful completion of seven required courses:
- Introduction to Horticulture and Landscape Operations [Fall Semester]

Care and Selection of
Trees, Shrubs, and Ground Covers
(Part I [Fall Semester] and Part II [Spring Semester]) - Landscape Design [Spring Semester]
- Plant Health Care for the Landscape [Spring Semester]
- Flowers for the Landscape [Spring Semester]
- Selection and Care of Turfgrass [Fall Semester]
Practicing professionals design and teach the courses. You must attend 80% of each course and satisfactorily complete any required assignments in order to earn continuing education units (CEUs) for participation.
