Health Care Programs
In partnership with Condensed Curriculum International, Inc. (CCI), Cleveland State University Division of Continuing Education is offering the following three programs.
Although the US economy remains sluggish and the overall job market has not improved, the demand for health care staff and professionals is growing at a staggering rate. These factors have created enormous job opportunities for individuals trained in leading health care professions.
Available to both working adults interested in a new career and current health care professionals, these exciting programs will help students prepare for the numerous jobs available in these areas. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. No discounts apply to these programs.

Professional Approvals
Cleveland State University (OH-012/4-1-09) is an approved
provider of continuing nursing
education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91),
an accredited approver by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center's Commission on
Accreditation.
You must attend a minimum of 80% of the program and complete an
evaluation form to receive contact hours. A notation appears in
the “Contact Hour” line of course
descriptions indicating courses designed for RNs and/or
LPNs. Unless noted specifically after a presenter's name,
no presenters have real or
perceived conflicts of interest that relate to their
presentations.
Cleveland State University has achieved Approved Provider status through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Our Approved Provider number is RCST090601. The hours earned during these courses will be acceptable to the board for license renewal purposes. Please check each individual course description to determine which courses have been approved each discipline.
Cleveland State University Division of Continuing Education is approved as a provider of continuing education for psychologists by the Ohio Psychological Association Office of Mandatory Continuing Education (OPA-MCE). Our Approved Provider # is 340966056. Please see individual course descriptions which will indicate courses which provide credit for psychologists.
Cleveland State University has achieved Preferred Provider status through the State of Ohio Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA). See “Contact Hour” line of each course description for approval numbers.
Certain courses are approved through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association for Registered Dietitians. Please check the “Contact Hour” line in course descriptions to determine which courses have been submitted to the CDR.
The Division of Continuing Education is an approved provider of recertification credit hours for human resource professionals (PHR and SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
