Business and Management

Six Sigma Green Belt

What does quality cost you?

The cost of quality management and the cost of rework are true budgetary line items for companies striving for operational excellence. Six Sigma can reduce the cost of both.

To effectively achieve this, a manager and corporate leader need to be able to:

  • Identify the process components responsible for quality
  • Identify what is important to the customer
  • Determine how to measure quality characteristics
  • Investigate causal relationships in the process
  • Determine process controls and capabilities
  • Determine incremental changes which yield the highest results

By the end of the day, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the primary goal of Six Sigma
  • Understand and apply Six Sigma methodology
  • Be able to utilize a set of tools to support a Six Sigma project
  • Understand that Six Sigma is not just a process, but a cultural shift and apply the proper change management processes needed for implementation
  • Identify the benefits to a customer, to product or service provider, and to self
  • Understand and demonstrate their knowledge of the D.M.A.I.C. phases

Participants who meet the completion criteria will be awarded a Green Belt Certificate.  For information about Financial Assistance and Discounts click here.
