Executive and administrative assistants are responsible for a variety of administrative, support and clerical duties necessary to run an organization efficiently. They serve as information and communication managers for an office; plan and schedule meetings and appointments; organize and maintain paper and electronic files; manage projects; conduct research; and disseminate information by using the telephone, mail services, Web sites, and e-mail. They are the glue that holds the office together and often they go unrecognized. Day
One
Professional Presence
Projecting a professional presence goes beyond how you dress. It
includes building the confidence that says to yourself and others: "I am
important. I can make a difference." Professionals also throw away the
phrase "that's not my job" and replace it with an "I can do it"
attitude. This seminar will explore what professional presence is and
will assist you in developing the skills and attitudes that define you
as a professional.
