Although the US economy remains sluggish and the overall job market has not improved, the demand for health care staff and professionals is growing at a staggering rate.  These factors have created enormous job opportunities for individuals trained in various aspects of health care. 

Cleveland State offers an intense Patient Advocacy Certificate Program (PACP) for those currently working in or considering a career chance in the area of Patient Advocacy.  The PACP is offered completely online and enrolls individuals from across the nation.  It is comprised of ten unique modules, which are taken individually. If you would like to learn specific skills which can prepare you to apply for technical positions within health care, you have a choice of the in-person certificate programs which are provided  in partnership with Condensed Curriculum International, Inc. (CCI).  This Division of Continuing Education is offering these two certificate programs:

• EKG Technician Certification Program
• Medical Billing and Coding Program

Available to both working adults interested in a new career and current health care professionals, these exciting programs will help students prepare for the numerous jobs available in these areas. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.  No CSU discounts apply to these programs.
