Cultivating Your Emotional Intelligence

Based on the groundbreaking work of international bestseller author Daniel Goleman, this seminar looks at the implications of "EQ," not IQ, for personal excellence. For persons in entry level and top executive positions, the research shows that emotional intelligence is more predictive of achievement and promotability than advanced degrees or technical expertise. With this knowledge, members of work teams, project leaders, and supervisors will improve their ability to influence others and coach effectively. Goleman's insights into the latest research produced 20 criteria for improving employee's EQ and concrete strategies for cultivating EQ in self and others. You’ll learn about these criteria, conduct a self-assessment of your own EQ strengths and weaknesses, and learn strategies for identifying high EQ candidates for employment.
