Landscape Design

Learn how to design a complete landscape

This program taught by a landscape architect will teach you how to design a complete landscape, including site analysis, design development, plant selection and construction materials. You will study landscape construction practices and cost estimation, using a residential landscape as an example.  Emphasis is on plant materials from a functional and aesthetic point of view.

Prerequisite: Background knowledge of plant material.

You'll learn to:

1) Create a successful landscape design.
2) Select appropriate plant and construction materials.
3) Illustrate a typical site analysis.
4) Explain a typical cost estimate.
