An in-depth course in plant management
This comprehensive program explores the use of plant materials in the landscape, especially plants under such conditions as shade, dry or wet soils, and locations with high or low pH. Plants with specialized characteristics such as columnar or weeping forms and colorful foliage or stems are also included.
NOTE: The first class provides important information needed in the classes that follow.
Prerequisite: Care and Selection of Trees, Shrubs, and Ground Covers: Part I.

1) Discuss advanced plant terminology.
2) Select planting to solve unique problems.
3) Use appropriate plant materials in the landscape.
4) Select plants that work together.
