Coping with Borderline Personality Disorders
Anyone related to, working alongside of, or professionally engaging with individuals who demonstrate the personality construction and behaviors labeled borderline, has almost certainly encountered the myriad difficulties attendant upon such a relationship. During this workshop we will discuss the etiology and clinical presentation of borderline personality and the most current treatment modalities for it. Through discussion and case studies, we will also identify the typical behaviors which result from this personality construction with special attention to practical strategies for coping with these behaviors in an effective and compassionate manner.
