Organizations are living organisms—employees do their
work in collaboration with all others to create a
continuous, integrated operation. Poor performance,
negative behavior and sour disposition by anyone
adversely affect the organization’s ability to be a
productive and healthy entity. Leaders must spend a
vastly disproportionate amount of time and energy
dealing with these dysfunctional dynamics.
This seminar demonstrates how businesses and
organizations can use an understanding of personality
types/styles to quickly analyze the causes of
interpersonal friction between “negative” staff and
their colleagues. Using the personality profile of nine
distinct types (Enneagram), participants will learn how
each critical thinking style contains the limitations
that can lead to dysfunctional dynamics in stressful
situations. Learning to recognize the behavior as
symptom, not cause, can lead to resolution.
Participants will use the information presented to
analyze their own experience and current situations from
a new perspective. Carefully structured small groups
work will help you better understand the dynamics. The
entire group will set guidelines for effective solutions
and alternative strategies for dissolving dysfunctional
dynamics.
