The LEED AP Operations & Maintenance (O&M) specialty is
geared toward professionals participating in the ongoing
operations of existing commercial and institutional
buildings. LEED AP O&M professionals who have
taken and passed this two-hour exam understand all of
the prerequisites and credits required for buildings to
obtain the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and
Maintenance certification. LEED for Existing Buildings
addresses: exterior building site maintenance
programs, water and energy use, environmentally
preferred products and practices for cleaning and
alterations, sustainable purchasing policies, and waste
stream management and indoor environmental quality.

CleanEdison to bring LEED certification prep to
Northeast Ohio.
Prerequisites: To take the LEED AP Specialty exams, you
must have already taken and passed the
LEED Green Associate Exam
or already be a legacy LEED AP and have agreed to the
USGBC Disciplinary Policy. If you are not already

To take the LEED AP Specialty exams, you must have
previous experience with a LEED Registered Project
within three years of your application submittal date.
