This course builds upon the JavaScript: Introduction course and covers the development of familiar JavaScript effects. The exercises deal with form validation, using event handlers, navigating to new web pages using a drop-down list, sliding or expandable menus, changing images and text simultaneously, the basics use of cookies, and more.
Prerequisites: JavaScript: Introduction or equivalent experience. Knowledge of CSS is helpful.
You'll learn to:
1) Use even handlers.
2) Open, manipulate and close new windows.
3) Access URLs form a list
4) Validate user entered data.
5) Generate HTML dynamically
