Word: Tables, Columns, Graphics and Drawing Tools

Take your documents to the next level by using one of Words best features, “Tables”. You will learn all about creating, drawing, formatting, and editing tables. You will be doing desktop publishing with ease by learning about columns, graphics, and drawing tools.

Prerequisite: Students should know the basics of Microsoft Word such as, opening, saving, editing, formatting, and printing documents.

You'll learn to:

1)  Create a table.
2)  Navigate within a table.
3)  Select text, cells, rows, and columns in a table.
4)  Use the buttons on the tables and borders tool bar.
5)  Adjust the column width and row height.
6)  Vertically align text in cells.
7)  Use the distribute buttons to equalize column widths.
8)  Use the text direction button to reorient text in a cell.
9)  Add and remove borders and shading from a table.
10) Merge and split cells.
