Cynthia Parish, MPA

Cynthia (Cindy) Parish is the Director of Business and Management Programs for the Division of Continuing Education at Cleveland State University. Cynthia has many years professional experience; as a corporate trainer, instructional developer, supervisor, consultant, project manager, community leader, and continuing education program director. She has a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in Political Science an MPA (Masters in Public Administration) from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and several certificates from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).

She has worked with people in organizations including newspapers, public utility, higher education, all levels of government, non-profits, systems and software engineering groups, large and small manufacturers, and various arts and professional office environments. In the past she has taught customer service, computer skills, train-the-trainer, negotiation, conflict resolution, problem solving, workforce diversity, change management, career development, and various supervisory skills. She has also lead staff development, team building, and strategic planning retreats.
