
Cheryl currently works as a behavioral management
consultant, having a career path encompassing sales
management, marketing and public relations for both
profit and non-profit organizations. She graduated with
a BSBA degree in Marketing Management from Bowling Green
State University, and obtained an MBA degree from
Cleveland State University. Cheryl completed doctoral
coursework in Organizational Sociology and Social
Psychology at Kent State University.
Cheryl has taught Professional Development Programs in
the Continuing Education realm both in Ohio and Florida,
and has a passion for cultivating a positive ‘corporate
climate’ in the workplace. Areas of expertise include
Respecting Personal Boundaries, Stress Management and
Resilience, and Managing Emotions (Intelligently) both
in and out of the office.
Earlier in her career, Cheryl taught Marketing courses
at Cuyahoga Community College, and worked as a Marketing
Representative for an insurance company based out of
Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduating from college, she
created the Marketing Department for the Telephone
Credit Union (now renamed Taleris Credit Union), and was
responsible for all marketing and public relations
functions. She has kept her Life, Accident/Health and
Annuities license active, as her husband is a financial
planner.
Memberships in several professional associations keep
Cheryl informed and actively engaged in new developments
within the ever-changing organizational field. When her
children were young, interests included participation in
several community-based school activities. Cheryl’s
daughter is a recent John Carroll University graduate,
and her son Jeff plays soccer for JCU.
