
Dick Hurwitz is Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the College of Education and Human Services at Cleveland State University. An associate professor of physical education, his research interests include instructional design, teacher behavior, and learner outcome assessment, especially through the use of electronic portfolios.

Jennifer Harden - Murtis Taylor
Dick has published 23 articles, book chapters, technical manuals and monographs and has designed five computer programs for use by teachers. He holds an Ed.D., Curriculum and Teaching in Physical Education, Teachers College, Columbia University.
To maintain his health and sanity, Dick and his wife go swing dancing as
much as they can. They are part of a group which holds a Guinness World
Record for the longest continuous swing dance party (over 52 hours!).
