Susan Congdon

With twenty-one years experience in adult computer instruction and six years as a high school teacher, Susan Congdon brings knowledge of solid educational methods, especially for the adult learner, and expert-level skill in application software. Susan prides herself in individualizing instruction and relating practical computer concepts to students’ daily activities.

Susan has a degree in French with teaching certification from Wittenberg University. With Master Instructor Certification in the entire suite of Microsoft Office products, Susan has provided applications training for Cleveland State since 1999. She also serves other colleges, businesses and individuals in greater Cleveland and beyond. Courses include all versions and all levels of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook. Other seminars include Visio, Crystal Reports, Internet Explorer, HTML, FrontPage, and Train the Trainer.

In addition to classroom instruction, Susan has designed training sessions to meet client-specific needs and requests, and staffed help desks to answer software questions, solve problems, and design templates and forms. Courseware development includes Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes Beyond the Basics, and Sales Staff Automation.
