Carolyn Carlson is the Contingency Planning Administrator for FirstMerit Bank. She is a Certified Business Continuity Professional with over ten years of experience in the Business Continuity industry.

She has worked in the health care, manufacturing, insurance, retail and distribution, and banking industries. Prior to becoming involved with Business Continuity, Carolyn worked in IT management, process development and documentation.

In her current organization, she is the lead for all activities related to Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption, and she is frequently invited to speak at industry related conferences. Ms. Carlson is a member and president of Contingency Planners of Ohio (CPO) and facilitates an Organizational Recovery class at Cleveland State University.
