Dr. Sandra A. Caramela-Miller has been the instructor for the Critical Incident Stress Management course through the Center for Emergency Preparedness, Division of Continuing Education at Cleveland State University since 2004. Dr. Caramela-Miller has a Ph.D. in Psychology, is a Certified Trauma and Loss Specialist, a Certified Trauma and Loss School Specialist, a Certified Forensic Consultant, a Certified Forensic Medical Investigator, and a Certified Gerontologist. She assumes a fulltime position at the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office as the Director of the Grief Counseling Intervention Program for surviving loved ones of homicide, suicide, accidental fatalities, and major criminal assaults as referred through the Cuyahoga County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
