Amy Burzinski is a licensed clinical social worker. Over the past 18 years Ms. Burzinski has worked with individuals and families affected by domestic violence, substance abuse and mental illness. Ms. Burzinski served as the coordinator for Victim Services Agency in Manhattan where she worked with victims of domestic violence and trained physicians and medical staff on how to identify, document and refer victims of domestic violence.
Ms. Burzinski currently works as a school counselor and group counselor in a residential treatment program for adolescent girls. Ms. Burzinski regularly provides trainings to mental health professionals, educators and admininistrators on domestic violence, bullying prevention, stress management and critical incident stress debriefings.
