May, 1986 to Present—Hazardous Materials Instructor; including, Confined Space Rescue, safety in the workplace, and other related topics. Instruction given to fire service, law enforcement, military personnel, healthcare providers, chemical industry workers, and a wide variety of workers in private industry—from meat packers to utility workers. Presently an instructor for Cleveland State University (Hazardous Materials), and Sinclair Community College (Firefighting).
April, 2001 to Present—HazMat Team Coordinator, Dayton Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team.
Member of the Dayton, Ohio Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team—1982 to Present.
Member of Ohio Task Force 1; FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team (1993-1999) in the capacity of Hazardous Materials Specialist and Technical Team Manager. This team responds to disasters throughout the United States.
Member of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors.
