
Paula V. Atwood is the Vice President of the Community-Based Services Cluster at Beech Brook of Northeast Ohio. She is administratively responsible for the delivery of quality mental health, social and educational services to children, adolescents and their families. She has also served as the Vice President for the Family-Based Cluster focused on delivery of services to children and adolescents in foster care placements and with permanency plans of adoption, and the Director of Programs, providing administrative leadership and oversight for all of the clinical, prevention, education and parenting programs within Beech Brook.
Ms. Atwood has over 35 years of experience in administration, management, training and direct care in mental health, social services, and substance abuse/chemical dependency. Prior to joining Beech Brook, she served as: Vice President of Behavioral HealthCare Services at Applewood Centers, Inc.; as the Director of the Child/Preteen, Adolescent Mental Health and Adolescent Dual-Diagnosis Programs at Laurelwood Hospital; Director of Youth Services and Administrator for the RapArt Center for the Center for Human Services.
Ms. Atwood is a graduate of the School of Applied Social Sciences of Case Western Reserve University and the Executive Masters in Business Administration program at Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with supervisor designation and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. .
