
Melvin E. Allerhand, Ph.D., ABPP
Melvin E. Allerhand, Ph.D., ABPP is a trained clinical psychologist and organizational psychologist who has consulted with individuals and organizations for over 40 years. He has specialized in developing creative methods to increase the effectiveness of people in utilizing their personal assets. He has provided such assistance in the office setting and within organizations using psychotherapeutic and coaching techniques. He has worked with many businesses in the United States and other parts of the world.
He has applied these communal approaches in Area-wide Health Planning Boards, Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and Ruppin College, Israeli institutions for communal villages, and in public and private colleges and schools.
He has developed an organization, New Beginnings for Boomers with a professional team, to assist Boomers and beyond to identify and reach a better next stage of work and personal life.
He was on the faculty at Case Western Reserve University in the psychology department, business school and dental school. He has been adjunct faculty at Cleveland State University and a number of external colleges including the Union Institute. He presents a series of courses at Cleveland State University, Continuing Education department, assisting professionals in honing their personal and intervention skills.
