MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMThe Nance College of Business Administration offers a world-class MBA Degree. All of our programs are accredited by the Association to advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the hallmark of quality in management education worldwide. We offer a variety of degrees and concentrations in both full and part-time programs with flexibility to accomodate your work schedule and your lifestyle. MBA Programs include:
FacultyThe MBA Program is taught primarily by CSU’s College of Business Administration graduate faculty, who are selected for expertise in their academic disciplines and related experience in business. In addition, all MBA faculty have terminal degrees in their field of specialization—many from the world’s leading business schools. They are actively involved in the community—as business consultants, members of professional organizations, and community leaders—bringing a richness of practical application to every course they teach. SpecializationAll MBA students complete the “MBA Core” courses.* The MBA Core provides advanced interdisciplinary business knowledge and includes three electives that lead to specialty one of the following disciplines:
* The Health Care Administration specialization does not include the entire MBA core curriculum. Internships/Co-opsCSU has one of the 10 largest co-op programs in the country and maintains close relationships with Cleveland's top corporate employers. Students in the co-op program can choose either part-time or full-time alternating semesters of paid, career-related employment, allowing them to apply academic theory to on-the-job problems. Also, through the Greater Cleveland Connection, students can be placed as volunteers with employers in exchange for an opportunity to assess a career option. Financial AssistanceA number of financial aid options are offered by the College of Graduate Studies. Visit their web site for more informtion or pick up an application form in the Graduate Business Programs Office. How to ApplyStudents applying to the MBA program apply to the College of Graduate Studies. They will be required to take the GMAT or GRE exam and submit results before being considered for admission. College of Business graduate applicants are not required to submit letters of recommendation. Students applying to the MBA program must meet both the Admission Requirements for the Graduate College as well as the Admission Requirements for the MBA program. Applicants should adhere to the detailed application procedure and recommended application schedule as outlined on the Graduate College Web site. Applicants should note that GMAT test registration forms and fees must be received by the Educational Testing Service at least three weeks before the testing day selected. The GMAT test is given continuously throughout the year. Information and applications may be obtained from the CSU Testing Center, room UC 253b, (216) 687-2272.
