OMS 500: Mathematical Models For Business

OMS 500 Course Options

As detailed in your admissions letter, if your test score is below the 25th percentile in the quantitative portion of the GMAT you are required to take OMS 500 in your first or second semester. You have two options to meet this requirement:

Option I: OMS 500 Credit Course: Worth two (2) credit hours. It is scheduled in Spring, Summer and Fall semester. For course description and registration information please see the CSU Graduate Catalog or online catalog at http://graduatestudies.csuohio.edu/catalog/?View=entry&EntryID=377#500.

Option II: OMS 500 Non-Credit Waiver Course: The OMS 500 Non-Credit Waiver Course will be graded as a pass/fail. In order to waive the OMS 500 Credit Course, you must receive a passing grade in OMS 500 Non-Credit Waiver Course. The cost is $525. For course schedule and registration information, please see below.

** Please note, due to the fact that 16 weeks worth of material is compressed into a minimal number of classes, this course may not be a good fit for students who have not taken statistics or similar courses previously.
