The Nance College of Business now offers a course in which qualified accounting and finance majors and MBA students can gain valuable hands-on experience by investing real money in different types of vehicles — stocks and bonds— based on their own research and evaluation of risk and return. The course starts in Fall 2008. Student-managed investment funds (SMIFs) are recognized for their value in teaching students about critical aspects of investment analysis, investment decision-making and portfolio management. ACCELERATED BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OPTION

Beginning in Fall 2008, the Nance College of Business will offer an accelerated option for completing the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. This 12-month program affords students the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive foundation of business knowledge combined with advanced exposure to multiple areas of business.

Program Highlights

• Full-time students may complete all upper level business requirements in one year*
• Courses delivered in a combination of six and ten week sessions (six sessions/year)
• Available to current Nance students and to new transfer students
• Students may select 300/400 level business electives (see Business Administration degree for details)
• Classes will be offered in the evening at the CSU West Center in Westlake
• Value added program features at no additional cost
