A video designed for International Students who plan to return home to begin their professional careers. Let's face it- the majority of the international students at your campus will be dealing with the prospect of a job search in their home countries soon. A presentation directed at International students, the video addresses appropriate communication styles for job interviews in the United States. This tape demonstrates:
--How the student's can open up discussion with a potential employer on ways to hire an international student.
--The critical stages of an interview.
--What needs to be done before the interview (appearance and physical presence is discussed in detail).
--Visually present the impact of contrasting cultural values.
--Employment interviews are communication encounters containing cultural norms and rules that required specific cultural literacy.- Length: 24 minutes
