George has over ten years of case management experience. He received his bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in child welfare from Cleveland State University. After graduating from CSU, George worked at several non-profit social service agencies. He has a Master of Divinity degree in Ministerial Leadership from Drew University. George joined the Care Management team in January 2022. George is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. George loves serving the community, traveling the world and hanging out with friends around Cleveland and Akron.

Camilya Williams hails from Detroit, Michigan and was a graduate of the Detroit High School of the Fine and Performing Arts. She is a proud alumna of Cuyahoga Community College where she acquired an AA and AAS in Human Services (CDT) and Cleveland State University where she acquired a BA in Black Studies, a BSW, and a Master of Education in Adult Learning and Development. She has served a combined total of 18 years in the healthcare arena along with experience serving underserved populations. Her belief is that every individual should have the opportunity to stand in all wellness (physical, mental, spiritual, financial, etc.)! As a higher education professional, she has served as a First Year and Exploratory Advisor and First Year Experience Instructor. By using a whole person approach and seeing everyone through an emotional intelligent lens, she is able to serve with excellence. She is known for promoting diversity, equity, accountability, and inclusivity wherever she goes. She was awarded the Viking Creed Champion Award 2022 and the Drum Major of Justice Student Award 2022 from Cleveland State University. She is lovingly called The Anchor by her Vikings and refers to herself as The Supa Dupa Viking! She is currently a doctoral student at Franklin University. Her research highlights the struggles faced by women of color on their journey through higher academia and as employees in higher academia. She is a proud mother and wife. In her free time, she enjoys theatre, fashion, open mic poetry readings, and dancing. You can find her often serving in various ways throughout community. She is excited to be back at CSU where she can continue to be a Vike For Life as an alumni and employee.
