Every student, faculty and staff member at CSU is
assigned an email
address. This email is accessible anywhere through
web and/or various software. CSU uses this email address to send you
important announcements such as emergency closings and event announcements.
Students - you are responsible for ensuring that you get your CSU email.
Registrars, Admissions, and other departments use your CSU email address to send
you information. Many professors will only send email to CSU email addresses.
Professors are able to download class rosters that include email addresses, providing
them with a much easier method for contacting students.
Faculty & staff - Your email account is created when you join
CSU. This remains in effect as long as you are associated with
the University.
