Prospective Student Scholarships
Ahuja Business Leadership Scholarship
To be considered for the Ahuja Business Leadership Scholarship, the incoming student must be a freshman admitted directly into the Monte Ahuja College of Business from high school.
Incoming freshman requirements:
- Minimum ACT composite score of 26 or a combined 1190 SAT score
- Minimum 3.4 high school GPA
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
The award may be received for a maximum of eight semesters based on the below scholarship structure:
- Student must select a minimum of 16 credits per semester with the selection and completion of the following Business required entry level course work during the first academic year: BUS 151 or CIS 151/260, MTH 148/149 or MTH 181/182, IST 203; as well as general education course work ENG 101/102
- Participate in the Monte Ahuja Freshman Sophomore Association
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Study a major within the Monte Ahuja College of Business
- Graduate within five years and availability of scholarship funds
Freshman Level: eligible for an award of $1,000 - $2,000
Sophomore Level: eligible for an award of $2,000 - $3,500 (possible renewal)
Junior Level: eligible for an award of $3,000 - $4,500 (possible renewal)
Senior Level: eligible for an award of $4,000 - $5,500 (possible renewal)
Deadlines
- Freshman must accept admission to CSU and the Monte Ahuja College of Business by March 1 of the Fall semester that the recipient plans to enroll
- Scholarship application deadline is April 1
- Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 1
Ahuja Business Transfer Degree Completion Scholarship
Incoming transfer student requirements:
- Must be admitted directly into the Monte Ahuja College of Business with more than 30 but less than 70 credit hours completed from another institution
- All CSU required general education course work and College of Business required math course work must be completed
The one-time, non-renewable scholarship award ranges between $2,000 and $3,000 per year.
- Recipients must select a minimum of 12-16 credits per semester
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Study a major within the Monte Ahuja College of Business
Deadlines
- The transfer student must accept admission to CSU and the Monte Ahuja College of Business by April 1 of the Fall semester that the recipient plans to enroll
- Scholarship application deadline is May 1
- Scholarship applicants will be notified by June 1
