Paul AllAfter serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs in CSU's Student Government Association, Paul All experienced American government in action as a summer intern in Washington D.C. and at the 2016 Republican National Convention held in Cleveland.

Paul, a Finance Major spent nine weeks in the nation's captial completing a summer internship for Ohio’s 16th House Congressional District, served by Representative Jim Renacci. During his internship, he attended legislative committee meetings, researched legislation in process wihtin the House of Representativs and helped coordinate responses to constituent inquiries. He attended a Congressional seminar featuring Paul Ryan, now Speaker of the House and was selected to attend a seminar hosted by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg at the Supreme Court.

"Only 100 were chosen from thousands of inters and I was lucky enough to go," he said. "I also was there when history was made - the Supreme Court decisions on Obamacare and the federal legalization on gay marriage."

“Student government was truly good preparation for this internship,” Paul added. “It helped me learn how to listen and pinpoint key facts during presentations.”

During the Republican National Convention, Paul served as a page and ran the Cleveland State University SnapChat account from the floor of the Republican National Convention.

In addition to the internships, Paul currently serves as a student representative to the CSU Board of Trustees (until 2017), is speaker of the Senate for the Student Government Association, president of Sigma Phil Epsilon franternity and is a Presidential Student Ambassador. He served as Master of Ceremonies at the September 2016 Real Estate Conference, convened by the Paul J. Everson Real Estate Center within the Finance Department at CSU. He plans to graduate in May 2017.
