On Friday, June 8th, The North East Ohio Supply Chain Tours students traveled to Fastenal's Distribution Center in Akron, Ohio. Fastenal Co. is an international wholesaler and retailer of industrial and construction supplies. It operates business to business (by selling directly to manufacturers) and through retail stores. The students had the opportunity to discuss Fastenal's current business strategy. The tour was lead by Brian Wise, Regional Operations Manager at Fastenal.
