Cleveland State University and SAS® Institute, Inc. Will Host Business Analytics SAS Day at CSU

In partnership with the SAS® Institute, Inc., Progressive Insurance and KeyBank, Cleveland State University will host Business Analytics SAS Day at CSU. The event, to be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the Cleveland State University campus in the Student Center, will feature leading experts, an interactive panel discussion and networking opportunities for northeast Ohio business analytics, data professionals and SAS users.
 
This opportunity to learn more about Big Data and Business Analytics is free and open to the public. Registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis online at www.csuohio.edu/business/sas-days .
 
Keynote speakers include Christian Nimsch, head of the Center for Health Analytics & Insights (CHAI); Dr. Andre de Waal, co-developer of the AutoGANN modeling node in SAS Enterprise Miner and Analytical Consultant in the Global Academic Program at SAS Institute, Inc. and Dr. Jerry Oglesby, Senior Director, Global Academic Program at SAS.
 
“Organizations today are relying on data and business analytics to formulate strategy and influence decision-making,” said Dr. Ray Henry, Associate Professor and Director of the Business Analytics program in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at CSU. “Every minute of every day, there is more data and information than ever before. Events like Business Analytics SAS Day at CSU are an opportunity for professionals, faculty and students to come together to learn, network and hopefully take that knowledge and apply it to the challenges they face.”
 
In addition to facilitating Business Analytics SAS Day at CSU, Dr. Henry will also lead an interactive panel discussion comprised of senior analytics executives from Northeast Ohio business and industry.
