The GMAT Preparation Workshops

Who: Cleveland Clinic employees who have applied to Cleveland State University

 

Where: Lerner Research Institute, Room NA5-24

 

Who is the instructor?

Dr. Pierre David

 

Is attendance required for each of the sessions?

No.  However, to obtain the maximum benefit from the workshops, attendance at all three sessions is highly recommended.  The material is not repeated on a weekly basis; rather each session is a progression of topics.

 

What should I bring?

  1. Your Cleveland Clinic ID badge. The Lerner Building is locked on weekends.
  2. Pens and/or pencils.
  3. Notebooks
  4. Calculators are not permitted for the GMAT exam and are not needed for the workshops.

 

Will I receive materials?

Dr. David will distribute materials at the first session.

 

Are there break periods and time allotted for lunch?

There will be 10 minute breaks at various points throughout the day.  In addition, there will be a 60 minute lunch break.

 

How soon after the workshops conclude should I take the exam?

There is no set time period, but students are encouraged to register for the GMAT exam while the information learned from the workshops is still fresh.
