Nate Ward, Director, Small Business Development Center Export Assistance NetworkNate Ward

As Director of the Global Business Center and the SBDC Export Assistance Network, Nate Ward, has extensive international experience within manufacturing and banking industries. His international business experience includes sales, logistics, marketing, pricing, research and product development. In addition to his diverse cultural knowledge, Ward speaks multiple languages including French, Spanish and Japanese.

Kim Hartzler, SBDC Export Assistance NetworkKimberly Hartzler

As the Export Assistance Advisor for the SBDC Export Assistance Network, Kimberly Hartzler utilizes her background in international manufacturing, product planning, marketing and sales to bring an increased knowledge base and strategic voice for new-to-exporting companies and those who desire to increase their global footprint. Hartzler consults companies in branding, market research and global strategy.

Meg Salkin, Centers for Outreach and EngagementMeg Salkin

Meg Salkin is the Special Programs Coordinator for the Centers for Outreach Engagement in the Monte Ahuja College of Business. She obtained her MAGI (Master of Arts in Global Interactions) from Cleveland State University in December 2011. In her role, Salkin is responsible for coordinating support functions and communications for Center programs and event as well as event planning and facilitating events and programs sponsored by the Centers and affiliated groups, including GlobalTarget, TEDxClevelandStateUniversity and Startup Vikes. Ucee Faenza, Global Business CenterUcee Faenza

Ucee Faenza is responsible for coordinating events related to the SBDC Export Assistance Network. In her role, she sources and recruits speakers and subject matter experts; coordinates schedules, event venues and logistics and coordinates in-depth training seminars related to export compliance, export finance, export risks, testing and certifications, supply chain, international management. Faenza has experience in human resources management, consulting and education. She has also assisted individuals and small businesses in product procurement, export logistics and compliance in addition to online and strategic marketing. Elliot Stone

As the Graduate Assistant of the SBDC Export Assistance Network, Elliot is responsible for conducting various market research projects for companies that work with the Center. Elliot has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Ohio State University and is currently working towards a Masters of Arts in Global Interactions. In the past, he has interned for US Senator Sherrod Brown in Washington D.C. and Cleveland. Elliot also has extensive work experience in a number of other fields including hospitality management, sales and education. He speaks four languages and enjoys traveling internationally.
