Cleveland State University's Monte Ahuja College of Business hosts an International Trade Assistance Center (ITAC) funded by the Ohio Small Business Development Center. ITAC provides export assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in northeast Ohio to promote business growth through exports.
The goal of the ITAC is to connect Ohioans with international markets and to ensure their success in attracting and flourishing in foreign markets. In addition to working in collaboration with our colleagues at the U.S. Commercial Service, the ITAC at Cleveland State University provides access to resources of the school through its faculty, student and professional resources.
We offer insight on the following: logistics, compliance, legal, financing, market research, global strategy, and language and cultural assistance. Specifically, our services include:
|Cultural Language Assistance||Documentation Requirements||Export Basics|
|Export Compliance Education||Export Financing||Export Readiness Assessment|
|Global Logistics||International Business Development||International Business Plan Assistance|
|Market Research and Strategy||Trade Mission Preparation||WorldwideMarketPrioritizationTool.pdf|
ITAC Services hosted at Cleveland State University are made possible by support from the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The Small Business Development Center of Ohio (SBDC) program is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBDC program is also funded in part by the Ohio Department of Development.
