The following scholarships are being offered through the Nance College of Business Administration. Unless otherwise indicated below, applicants should drop off a completed College of Business Scholarship Application in the Academic Advising Office, BU 219 no later than January 31 for the following academic year.

Ahuja Endowed Fund in Business Administration & Engineering

Awarded to students of Indian origin pursuing graduate coursework based on merit and financial need. Student must be here a minimum of 2 semesters.

Cleveland Advertising Association

Awarded to an Ohio resident pursuing a communications/marketing-related major at an Ohio college or university; must carry a full course load and hold a current minumum GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be in his/her senior, junior or last semester of sophomore year.

CSU Business Alumni Association Book Scholarship

This scholarship awards multiple students with a $250 scholarship to be used toward the purchase of textbooks.

David L. Balint Endowed Scholarship

Awarded annually to students pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
To apply: Submit Scholarship Application to the Academic Advising Office.

David S. Rosenblatt Endowed Scholarship

Awarded to single parents and/or students in IST/CIS.
To apply: Submit Scholarship Application to the Academic Advising Office.

Dean Paul Anders CSU Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

Awarded by April 15 to College of Business students in sophomore or junior year. No fewer than 3 awards/year.

Eddie L. Hardy Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to freshmen business students with financial need; Preference to Cleveland Public School graduate.

GEON Company Business Scholarship

Awarded annually to two graduate students transferring from Central State University.
To apply: Submit Scholarship Application to the Academic Advising Office.

H.Wolanski Business Scholarship

Awarded to student majoring in Business or Law, with priority given to students of Ukrainian descent.
To apply: Submit Scholarship Application to the Academic Advising Office.

Jacob G. Schmidlapp Scholarship

Awarded to honors students, with preference given to Freshmen.

National Association of Aluminum Distributors (NAAD) Scholarship

Awarded to Marketing or Communications major; student must be full-time, must attend NAAD lunch meeting in late September.

Nord Family Scholarship

Awarded to EMBA students employed by a Non Profit Organization in Lorain County.
To apply: Submit Scholarship Application to the Academic Advising Office.

Ron Coccari Business Scholarship

Awarded to graduate or undergraduate students; Cumulative GPA, Academic achievement, and community service all considered, but no minimum GPA is required.

URS Corporation Business Scholarship

Awarded to students in the College of Business Administration, with priority given to women; any level, part-time or full-time; student must show financial need and provide recommendation from faculty.

Waetjen Endowed Scholarship

Awarded to business students completing junior year; minimum 3.7 GPA overall, active in co-curricular/community activities.
To apply: Call CSU Financial Aid Office, Scholarship Coordinator, 687-3764.

Accounting Scholarships

Accounting OBA Scholarship

Awarded to a student enrolled in 5th year of the Accounting program which will qualify the candidate to take the CPA exam; must be in good standing, must demonstrate financial need.

Ernest G. Wessel Memorial Scholarship

Awarded annually to needy students majoring in Accounting or Finance, with 2.0 GPA or better. Must be an Ohio or Cleveland resident.

Raymond J. Hasman Endowed Scholarship

Awarded to students pursuing an Accounting degree; declared major, 3.0 GPA in College of Business coursework, greater Cleveland resident, involved in community.

Finance Scholarship

To be chosen by Finance Department Chair.

Paul J. Everson Scholarship

Awarded to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing real estate as career; Must work a minimum 5 hr/week in the Real Estate Research Center during the scholarship period.

Marketing Scholarships

Chip Lawrence Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to graduate or undergraduate students with a major in Marketing.
To apply: Go to the Marketing Department Office, BU 460, College of Business.

Donald Scotton International Travel Scholarship

Provided to help support the Marketing Department's annual Summer Study Abroad.
