Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Learning System

Your Complete Solution to Prepare for the Newly Revised
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Exam

IMA’s Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certification Program addresses the needs of managerial finance and accounting professionals as they meet the challenges of the new corporate accounting environment. IMA has recently updated the CMA Program’s “body of knowledge” to reflect the variety of relevant business skills and abilities – including analyzing, managing, and evaluating business solutions – that professionals must possess to effectively contribute to the strategic success of an organization today.

CMA Learning System Overview

IMA’s new CMA Learning System delivers a comprehensive, customized learning experience in four convenient courses mirroring the four exam parts of the CMA Program. This instructor-led course is a professional development and CMA Exam preparation program.

Each of the four courses of the CMA Learning System begins with a unique, online self-assessment readiness tool and combines printed study materials with online, interactive testing and classroom sessions to deliver a comprehensive and customized learning experience in management accounting.

  • A pre-test assesses your current level of knowledge so you can focus on areas that require improvement.
  • Over 1,500 pages of printed material organized into four parts represent the complete newly revised body of knowledge encompassed in the CMA Exam.
  • More than 1,300 multiple-choice with sample essay questions and online application exercises measure your comprehension of concepts and calculations.
  • Immediate feedback to online test questions, correct answer rationale and calculation hints work together to provide an interactive learning experience.
  • E-Flashcards based on the CMA glossary of terms offer practice in terms and definitions.
  • A post-test gauges knowledge gained.
  • A glossary of terms provides maximum study flexibility.
  • Easily accessed reporting tracks your progress and learning gains.
  • Qualified instructors reinforce key points and keep you on track for success.
  • A peer network is developed while you learn in a group environment.
