U.S. Small Business Administration’s Cleveland District Office recognized the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business with the Ohio Small Business Development Center Services Excellence and Innovation Award on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 at 2:00 PM in a ceremony at the SBDC office located in the Cleveland Heights Library at 2340 Lee Road, Cleveland, Heights, Ohio.
This award honors the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for its excellence in providing value to small businesses and advancing program delivery and management through innovation. The Center is housed at The Cleveland Heights Library.
Gil Goldberg, District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Cleveland office presented Katie Van Dyke, Director of the CSU SBDC with the award as part of the annual observance of National Small Business Week.
“The SBA is proud to honor Katie Van Dyke and the staff of the SBDC at Cleveland State University,” said Mr. Goldberg. “Their dedication to the small business community is extraordinary and the results of their counseling, advice and support to those working to pursue or grow small businesses has strengthened the economy of our region. They are to be commended for their accomplishments and we are fortunate to have them located here in Northeast Ohio.”
