Undergraduate Transfer Students

Welcome prospective BBA transfer students! The Monte Ahuja College of Business has a rolling admissions policy. This means you can start your CSU enrollment in Fall, Spring or Summer!  To ensure that you have plenty of time to complete the application and enrollment process, we recommend that you apply to CSU and the Monte Ahuja College of Business several months prior to the beginning of the semester when you wish to start.

Transfer Information Session:

Personalized service to help you transfer to the Monte Ahuja College of Business

The Transfer Information Session provides insight regarding CSU requirements to prospective transfer students from two-year and four-year schools before the student applies to Cleveland State University to complete an undergraduate degree. Also, the session will provide insight regarding the application process and highlight College of Business scholarship options for transfer students. A TRANSFER INFORMATION SESSION IS NOT AN ACADEMIC ADVISING APPOINTMENT. Academic Advising appointments are only for CURRENT CSU STUDENTS.

Transfer Information Session services:

• THE TRANSFER Information Session will provide and review Monte Ahuja College of Business major(s). Also, the session will review all related required course work which includes CSU University General Education course work and MA College of Business course work and related Business major course work.
• THE TRANSFER Information Session will review the CSU transfer application process.
• THE TRANSFER Information Session will provide you with detail information to help prospective students make a seamless transition to the CSU Monte Ahuja College of Business
• THE TRANSFER Information Session will review MA College of Business scholarship options and application deadline dates.
• THE TRANSFER Information Session will help prospective students develop a degree completion plan and graduate from the CSU College of Business.
• THE TRANSFER INFORMATION SESSION WILL NOT GUARANTEE WHICH COURSES WILL TRANSFER INTO CSU. **Students must make formal application to CSU in order to find out which COURSES WILL TRANSFER INTO CSU.
• THE TRANSFER INFORMATION SESSION WILL NOT GUARANTEE IF COURSES TRANSFERRED IN WILL COUNT TOWARD Monte Ahuja College of Business REQUIREMENTS. **After being accepted into CSU, a copy of a course syllabus regarding Business related course work would help the Business Advising team and Departments determine if a specific transfer course can be applied to College of Business requirements.
• The TRANSFER Information Session will not conduct a review of how credits may or may not transfer to CSU. Evaluation of credits will only be completed after formal admission to CSU.
• THE TRANSFER INFORMATION SESSION is a one-time service only and the College of Business Advising Center will not provide ONGOING Transfer session appointments. NOTE: Students who want ongoing academic advising appointments must apply to CSU and obtain a CSU ID number.
• THE TRANSFER Information Session will review and provide if needed, Northeast Ohio Community College Transfer Guide.

The Transfer Application Process: Apply Online!!

Prospective College of Business transfer students are encouraged to apply online.

Your completed application will be reviewed within one to two weeks. Transfer admissions are handled by the CSU Office of Admissions. http://www.csuohio.edu/engagecsutransfer/

• Please note that your application will not be finalized until all OFFICIAL PREVIOUS COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS have been received and reviewed by the CSU Office of Admission and Registrar. Please contact the CSU All in One Campus 411 office at 216.687-5411 in order to learn more about your application progress.

Transfer Credit Policies

• Students must complete fifty percent or more of their major course work at CSU
• Some business courses completed at specific Colleges will not be accepted as CSU Monte Ahuja College of Business course work, but would transfer into CSU as basic electives.
• All new Transfer students must meet with a College of Business academic advisor.  Please contact our Business Undergraduate Advising Center at 216.687-3729.
• Students MUST complete all required College of Business math related courses prior to completing Business 300/400 level courses.
