The Society for Human Resource Management has over 450 student chapters across the country. Merit and Superior Merit Award status is given based on a high level of documented chapter activities and involvement with the profession. We recently learned that CSU SHRM earned the Superior Merit Award level for this year. From those earning Superior Merit status, we were notified today that CSU is one of ten student chapters to be honored as an Outstanding Student Chapter!
Outgoing CSU SHRM President Laural Wagner will accept the award plaque and certificate on June 27 at the national SHRM conference for HR professionals to be held this year in New Orleans. Laural and the student officers are to be congratulated for their achievements and thanked for the recognition this brings to our program and the University!
