The goal of the Center for Marketing Research is to become a leader in providing consulting and direction to Northeast Ohio companies, hospitals and government agencies. Through our top quality interdisciplinary programs and consulting relationships with industry, government, and partner departments, the Center for Marketing Research provides value to both its students and its clients. Students develop advanced marketing research skills through instruction in the use of cutting edge technology and statistical programs (e.g., SAS, STATA, R, ArcGIS etc.) and consulting with real-world companies to solve their business problems.
Company-sponsored marketing research projects bring real-world marketing challenges of Advisory Board companies and other Northeast Ohio organizations into the classroom. Students engage in every stage of actual marketing research projects from problem identification and specification of research questions to presentation of results and recommendations to the client.

Ashutosh Dixit (Center Director), Ph.D. Georgia Institute of Technology, is the Interim Chair of the Department of Marketing and Associate Professor of Marketing at CSU. With over 20 years of industry and academic experience, he has published extensively in top marketing journals, received over 20 prestigious awards for his research and teaching, and has been involved in the MMS program at the University of Georgia.
Steve Percy (Project Champion), is a Visiting Professor of Marketing and the Dean of the College of Business at CSU. Steve is the former Chairman and CEO of BP America and has taught at The University of Michigan.
Rajshekhar (Raj) G. Javalgi is the Associate Dean and Professor of Marketing and International Business at CSU. He obtained his Ph.D. (Marketing) from the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee. Dr. Javalgi has published over 100 scholarly and professional journal articles in the field of international business/marketing. Associate Dean Javalgi will be a major advisor, build relationships with Industry partners, preside over board meetings, and provide direction.
Amit Ghosh, Ph.D. University of Iowa, is a Professor of Marketing at CSU, specializing in marketing analytics and multivariate statistics. Dr. Ghosh will be responsible for building relationships with the SAS institute, Higher Education Division, and getting SAS software, Enterprise miner software, data-bases, course scheduling, and training.

Colette Taddy Hart (Co- Director) is Director of Outreach and Business Centers. She sits on the Board of Governors for NASBITE International Beachwood Business Development Center’s Economic Development Board. Hart obtained her and her B.A. at the University of Wisconsin and MBA from CSU and has secured over $3 million in grants for economic development and outreach. Ms. Hart will be responsible for outreach, building industry relationships, coordinating the executive advisory board, and student recruitment and placement.
Marie Herlevi (Program Coordinator) MLRHR, MLS, is Coordinator of the Outreach and Business Centers at the Monte Ahuja College of Business of Cleveland State University. Ms. Herlevi, will be responsible for industry relationships, board of director memberships, organizing the executive lecture series, and student recruitment and placement.
