
Bob Norton is the President and CEO of GCA Services Group, which is headquartered in West Conshohocken, PA. GCA Services Group is a leading national provider of quality facility services. GCA services 32 percent of the Fortune 100 firms and maintains a client retention rate of 94 percent. GCA has more than 19,000 employees who currently provide facilities maintenance services to over 500 million square feet daily in 35 states and Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining GCA, Mr. Norton was the Chairman and CEO of Florist Transworld Delivery, Inc. (FTD), a leading provider of floral services and products worldwide. Under his leadership, FTD more than doubled revenues and profitability while working with a domestic network of 20,000 florists and another 35,000 florists worldwide to deliver floral products the same day throughout the world. Mr. Norton joined FTD in October 1996 as General Manager; became President, Chief Executive Officer, and a director in January 1997; and was elected Chairman of the Board of FTD in June 2000.
From March 1993 until May 1996, Mr. Norton was Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Jo-Ann Stores, Inc., a retail chain of fabric and craft stores headquartered in Hudson, OH. Prior to that, Mr. Norton held various positions with Sherwin-Williams Company, the George Worthington Company, and Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young). Since 2004, Mr. Norton has also been President of Norton Ventures LLC, which is the owner of Century Harley Davidson and other properties.
Mr. Norton received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University in 1973.
