
Chip joined Applied Industrial Technologies in 1997 as Manager of Internal Audit. In 2000 he assumed responsibility for the financial operations of Applied’s six fluid power subsidiary companies. In 2002, his role expanded to include financial oversight for Applied subsidiary companies in Puerto Rico and Mexico. Chip is also responsible for the financial analysis, valuation and due diligence processes supporting Applied’s merger and acquisition activities.
Prior to Applied, Chip served three years at Sudbury, Inc., a diversified products company, in various financial management roles. From 1987-1993 Chip worked in various audit positions with Ernst & Young.
Chip received a BS Degree in Accounting from Miami University in May, 1987 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1990. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accounts, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Visiting (Advisory) Committee of the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University.
Chip resides in Avon Lake with his wife Merri and three daughters, Esther, Helen, and Elizabeth.
